Q1. How much do your wooden shutters cost?

All our interior shutters are custom made so every job is individually priced to requirement. Whilst we always aim to be as competitive as possible, our products are all high quality items.

Q2. What shutter styles are available?

We make solid wood shutters – also known as panel, or decorative panel shutters. Hinges can be used as contrasting colour accents or hidden, to requirement.

Q3. Will you measure up and give me an estimate?

Yes – we can measure up and you will receive an estimate. Rest assured we don’t believe in the hard sell – just good, honest advice.

Q4. Will you also fit my shutters?

Whilst our service includes manufacture and delivery, we can also fit shutters by arrangement. The alternative is to deliver shutters for your own arranged installer. The choice is yours.

Q5. Can you make shutters for any window?

Yes – we custom make interior shutters to fit virtually any window or door. Special shutter shapes include; arches, fan tops, circles, hexagons, octagons, triangles and tapered shutters. For key shutter styles, click here.

Q6. How long will my shutters take to make?

As a general guide you should allow 6-8 weeks from order placement.

Q7. What wood do you use for painted shutters?

The most popular woods we use are tulipwood, beech, pine and oak. All our wood is from well-managed forests and we are able to source other woods on request.

Q8. What paint do you use?

We use various paints including Farrow & Ball (non oil-based), Fired Earth and Heritage palettes.

Q9. What finishes do you offer?

Our shutters can be supplied painted, oiled, lacquered or limed.

Q10. Do wooden shutters age in any way?

Wood is a natural material with inconsistencies. It is possible that it can warp, shrink or change colour over time depending on the environment of the room it’s in and this is part of its attraction. Most wooden products will only improve over time. Our solid wood shutters are designed to last a lifetime.
